About Jourdan Salas
Jourdan Salas (prior: Jourdan Kluger), founder and owner of Pediatric Support and Intervention, LLC. (PSI), brings 15 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). Her background spans hospitals, pediatric outpatient rehabilitation facilities, private practices, home settings, schools, and teletherapy.
In addition, she has worked extensively in early intervention and with children facing a range of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, feeding disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, articulation disorders, ADD/ADHD, and Down Syndrome.
She firmly believes in the importance of early intervention and takes pride in partnering closely with children and their families. Jourdan is passionate about her work, forming strong, supportive bonds with every child and family she serves.
Jourdan is proud to collaborate closely with families of both neurodivergent and neurotypical children, ensuring each child has the best opportunity for success.
Moreover, as both a parent and therapist, Jourdan offers a distinctive perspective on how a speech-language pathologist can cultivate a nurturing, supportive, and creative environment to enhance language development.
Along the same lines, establishing positive and enjoyable feeding experiences from an early age—while still providing the right balance of guidance and challenge—is crucial to fostering healthy development.
All children can benefit from an environment structured around evidence-based practices that support speech, language, and feeding development in a fun, family-focused way.
Jourdan is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holds licenses in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas.
When she isn’t working, Jourdan enjoys exercising, cooking, and playing tennis. Most importantly, she loves spending quality time with her two daughters, her husband, and her two dogs.
